After Gas Plant and once in the Forestry Reserve Cell Phones do not work

From NORTH  on Hwy #22
(Cowboy Trail) 22km from Hwy#27 turn right (West) signs "Burnt Timber Road" and "Shell Gas Plant" This is township road 304.

From SOUTH on Hwy #22 (Cowboy Trail)
5km past CREMONA turn left (West) signs "Burnt Timber Road" and "Shell Gas Plant". This is township road 304.

The Burnt Timber road is paved and you will follow it for 27 km until you come to the Shell Gas Plant (it is now closed down). Approximately 200 meters before the gate to the plant is a a blue & white sign with our info on your right.

Turn right on the gravel road that goes around the plant entering the forestry reserve. Stay on this road  (do not take any of the off shoot roads) for 22km, at approx 11km you will cross a one lane bridge at the Fallen Timber Creek, keep going. Please note there is a hairpin corner at approx 17km.  Continue on towards HVA RAFTING CAMP ---> turn-off will be on your right side at 22km. Go through the big green gate and follow the road 150 metres into camp. If you reach a second one lane bridge you have gone 1km too far, turn around and look for green gate then on your left.

From MOUNTAIN AIRE LODGE

Head  SOUTH on Hwy #940 Forestry trunk road for 12 km then turn left on Stud Creek road sign reads  "private road 50/km" After 5km you will come to a large Direct Energy compressor complex, turn right and after 4.5 km you will cross one lane bridge over Burnt Timber creek and HVA CAMP turn-off is on left side 1km from the bridge.
